This page consists of all crib and
doll quilts. They are very hard to find and therefore cost more than a
comparable full size quilt. People today love them for wall hangings. Antique
crib and doll quilts were never made as wall hangings. The people who made them
were too frugal and practical.

- "Eight Pointed
Stars" Doll/Crib Quilt, circa 1930. Straight line quilted at 6
stitches to the inch. One inch white border on all four sides. One of the four
corners has an imperfection which appears to have been in the making. Shown on
a close-up. 22"x29". $ 195. Stock

- "Postage Stamp
Chain" Doll Quilt, circa 1880-1930. Machine quilted. A real scrap
bag of fabric was used to make this. Nice Roman Stripe border. A few damaged
pieces and a few seams have opened up. It definitely does not detract from this
piece. From an Illinois collection. 23"x28". $

- "Cats"
Appliqué Crib Quilt, circa 1930. Diamond, conforming, and straight line
quilting at 6 stitches to the inch. Nice detail work. Scalloped edge and a blue
binding. "PUSS IN BOOTS" is embroidered in the tumbling blocks above
and below the center cat. Minor wear to the binding edge. 35"x50".

- "Bunny"Crib Quilt, circa 1930. Double straight line
and other quilting at 6 stitches to the inch. A real cute example with nice
applique work. Blue binding and a scalloped edge. 35"x50".

- "Sampler"
Crib Quilt, circa 1880. Straight line quilting at 4 stitches to the inch. These
early crib quilts are hard to come by. Even more difficult is a Sampler. A nice
example whichis believed to have been made by a young girl. Fabric damage to
some of the brown prints. Also, minor damage on the back. 37"x45".
