This page consists of all quilt tops.
Tops are unfinished quilts. They consist of the top part of the quilt. They
have never been backed, filled, or quilted. People today buy them to either
finish, use as a tablecloth, a throw, or various other uses. They cost less
than completed quilts.

- This unusual folk art "Log Cabin"
Quilt Top is sewn to a foundation, circa 1880. It has not been backed or bound.
It has embroidered American Flags on flag poles, Red Cross flags on flag poles,
stars, moon, horseshoe, etc. I do not know the symbolism of these objects. They
are all embroidered on. There are also rows of small beads which are also sewn
on. A lot of work went into making this. It is in excellent condition with no
stains, rips, tears, or restoration. It was found in the Albany NY area. Size
is 40"x70". OUT ON APPROVAL. Stock #17093.
