Flying Geese
  • Red and white "Flying Geese", circa 1880. Conforming and cross hatch quilting at 6 stitches to the inch. I think 2 different red fabrics were used because some of the triangles faded more than others. The border on one edge is darker then the rest of the quilt. That could be the pillow end. The quilt is in good clean condition with no damage but there is overall fading to most of the red , giving it a nice mellow look. 68"x72". OUT ON APPROVAL. Stock #18163. CLICK HERE FOR CLOSE-UPS.
