- Silk "Crazy
Quilt", dated "1896". Very good embroidery work and hand
painting of animals, fish, and flowers. Has a few damaged pieces as is typical
of these silks. 74"x74". OUT ON APPROVAL.

World", circa 1880. Diamond and cross hatch quilting at 8 stitches
to the inch. More recently backed. Believed made in Wayne County, Ohio.

- "Rolling
Stones", circa 1880. Straight line quilting at 6 stitches to the
inch. Made by Grandmother Troxell, Lancaster County, PA. It has about 6 or 7
small spots and one larger spot which is near the edge of the quilt. Close-ups
show 2 of the spots. Queen size 82"x90". $
